About the Course
Ballybunion's Old Course is one of the most natural and dramatic links courses on earth. Perched on clifftops above the Shannon estuary, the course features holes that plunge down into deep valleys and rise up to exposed headlands with views that stretch to the Blasket Islands. Tom Watson famously called it the finest he had ever played, returning many times to study its secrets. The graveyard beside the first tee sets the tone — this is an ancient, mystical place where golf has been played for over a century.
