About the Course
Burnham & Berrow Golf Club has played host to many important amateur championships over the years and the course is regularly used for Open Championship qualification. The club was founded in 1890 and the Championship course evolved with input from Herbert Fowler and J.H. Taylor into a demanding links stretching 6,618 yards across the Somerset dune systems between Burnham-on-Sea and Berrow. The dunes here are among the finest in England — large, firm, and beautifully shaped — and the views across the Bristol Channel add to the dramatic setting. The par-71 course features a notable stretch of holes along the shoreline where the wind is rarely absent. A second nine-hole course on the property makes Burnham & Berrow an outstanding destination.
