About the Course
Cape Kidnappers is one of the most dramatic golf experiences on earth. Tom Doak built the course on the spectacular cliff-top ridges above Hawke's Bay on New Zealand's North Island, with some fairways barely 40 metres wide perched above 140-metre drops to the Pacific Ocean below. The gannet colony at the Cape end of the property adds a natural spectacle that is unique in world golf. The course has won universal acclaim since opening in 2004 and is regularly listed among the world's top 30.
