About the Course
Carne Golf Links at Belmullet is one of the most remote and authentic links experiences in Ireland. Eddie Hackett, Ireland's greatest golf course architect, designed it as his final project and it stands as his masterpiece. The course occupies spectacular duneland on the Mullet Peninsula in County Mayo — one of the most isolated corners of Ireland — with the Atlantic breakers crashing on the shore below. The dunes at Carne are among the largest in Europe, and several holes play over or through them in ways that are simply breathtaking.
