About the Course
Cabot Highlands Castle Stuart now offers serious competition to both Royal Dornoch and Nairn when it comes to attracting visiting golfers to the Highlands. The course opened in 2009 on a clifftop site above the Moray Firth, designed by Gil Hanse and Mark Parsinen. Every hole on this Scottish links delivers a stunning panorama — the Black Isle, Ben Wyvis, and the Moray Firth stretching out below. The par-72 course measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees but can be adjusted dramatically through an extensive tee-box system. Having hosted the Scottish Open multiple times, Cabot Highlands has rapidly established itself as one of the most important new links courses of the 21st century. Rebranded as Cabot Highlands after acquisition by Cabot Golf in 2022.
