About the Course
The Links at Fancourt is South Africa's most prestigious golf course. Built on flat farmland near George in the Garden Route and designed by Gary Player, The Links was constructed as a Scottish heathland and links hybrid — an extraordinary feat of earthmoving that created natural-looking dunes, burns and thick rough from completely level terrain. The course hosted the 2003 Presidents Cup, which ended in a legendary tie between Tiger Woods and Ernie Els. Fancourt is South Africa's finest golf resort, with three additional courses, a world-class spa and one of the country's most acclaimed hotel experiences.
