About the Course
Golf de Sperone is unlike any other course in France. Opened in 1990 near Bonifacio at the southern tip of Corsica, the course occupies a dramatic headland of white limestone cliffs dropping into the turquoise Mediterranean. Several holes play over sea inlets with views to the Sardinian islands on the horizon. The routing alternates between protected pine forest valleys and thrilling clifftop exposures where the famous Corsican wind — the libeccio — can turn any hole into a white-knuckle adventure. Consistently ranked among the top courses in France and one of the most visually arresting settings in all of European golf.
