About the Course
Hayling Golf Club occupies the southern tip of Hayling Island, where the Solent meets the English Channel. Founded in 1883 and redesigned by Tom Simpson in the 1930s, the course is a proper links with firm, fast turf and constant sea breezes. The Solent views from several holes take in the Isle of Wight and the busy shipping lanes, while the inland holes thread through gorse-lined fairways. The club has long been one of the south of England's most respected links clubs — consistently ranked in Golf Monthly's Top 100 England — and its combination of natural links terrain, history and accessibility makes it a favourite among discerning golfers.
