About the Course
Lahinch is the heartbeat of Irish links golf. Situated on Liscannor Bay in the west of Ireland, the course features huge dunes, blind shots over hills, and that distinctive sense of wildness that only the Atlantic winds can bring. Alister MacKenzie redesigned the course in 1927, though the club famously rejected two of his holes in favour of the original 'Klondyke' and 'Dell' holes — blind par 3s that divide opinion to this day. The Cliffs of Moher are visible from the course, adding to the dramatic setting.
