About the Course
Prince's Golf Club at Sandwich Bay is a neighbour of Royal St George's and Royal Cinque Ports, forming one of the finest concentrations of links golf in England. The course was originally designed by Jim Arthur in 1907 and hosted The Open Championship in 1932. The current layout is a 27-hole facility, typically played as either the Shore & Dunes or Himalayas & Shore combination. The terrain is classic links — flat, exposed, with sea breezes off the Straits of Dover and deep pot bunkers guarding the approaches. Though less celebrated than its neighbours, Prince's is often considered the most fun and accessible of the Sandwich Bay courses, and represents outstanding value for the quality of the links experience.
