About the Course

The Renaissance Club is a private members' club situated near North Berwick in East Lothian, designed by Tom Doak and opened in 2008. From an elevated site above the Firth of Forth, it commands views of the Bass Rock, Berwick Law, and the Lammermuir Hills. Doak worked with the natural topography to create a links that feels ancient despite its modern origins. The course has quickly gained international recognition, hosting the Genesis Scottish Open on the DP World Tour / PGA Tour co-sanctioned event. The routing includes spectacular par-3s, demanding par-4s with well-guarded greens, and a closing stretch that tests every facet of links play. Private but accessible for societies and groups through specific booking arrangements.
