About the Course
The Sandy Hills Links at Rosapenna has been in continuous development since the 1890s when Old Tom Morris first laid out holes on this spectacular Donegal peninsula. The current course owes much to a substantial renovation by Pat Ruddy that transformed the layout into a genuinely demanding modern links. The course plays through towering dunes above Sheephaven Bay, with the Atlantic wind a constant companion. Together with the Tom Doak-designed St Patrick's Links on the same property, Rosapenna offers one of the finest two-course golf destinations in Ireland. The Sandy Hills is the older, more raw of the two — a links that feels entirely natural despite its many upgrades.
