About the Course
St Francis Links opened in 2022 and immediately attracted worldwide attention as one of the finest new golf courses anywhere in the world. Designed by Jack Nicklaus on the dramatic coastline of St Francis Bay in the Eastern Cape, the course makes extraordinary use of a stunning natural landscape of fynbos-covered dunes, estuaries and the Indian Ocean. The design has been praised for its subtlety, variety and dramatic routing — combining exposed clifftop holes with sheltered dune valleys. Jack Nicklaus himself has called it one of the finest sites he has ever worked with.
